Sales Tax Changes in Hillsborough County, FL

Please disregard if you do not conduct business in Hillsborough County.
On January 1, 2019, Hillsborough County changed the sales tax and commercial rental tax rates. Hillsborough County will now collect 8.5 percent for all sales and 5.8 percent on commercial rent, so it is important to adjust your sales software on January 1st to account for the increase in sales tax.
