Steve Yeager, CPA

Steve is a Tax Partner in the Orlando office of Hancock Askew. He has over 30 years of experience in public accounting. Steve specializes in federal and state income taxation, estate and gift taxation, and domestic and international taxation, with a primary focus on closely held businesses and their owners. He has worked with clients in numerous industries including real estate, manufacturing, technology, and professional services.

Before joining Hancock Askew, Steve spent over 20 years with the Orlando accounting firm of Graham, Cottrill, Jackson & Hostetter, LLP, starting as an intern and later becoming a partner of the firm.  Steve subsequently spent over 10 years as a tax principal with CliftonLarsonAllen, LLP (CLA), after the acquisition of Graham, Cottrill, Jackson & Hostetter by CLA. He then joined Ferrell & Kelly, CPAs in 2021 and the firm merged with Hancock Askew in 2023. He holds both a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, as well as a Master’s degree in Taxation from the University of Florida.  Steve is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Florida Institute of Public Accountants (FICPA).
