Mark is a Tax Partner at Hancock Askew. He joined the firm in 2023 and has over 37 years of public accounting experience. He primarily works with owners of closely held family businesses to improve profitability, maximize tax benefits and plan for the transition of wealth to the next generation. He has special expertise in working with automobile dealerships, high net worth individuals, retail companies and wholesale entities.
Prior to joining HAC, Mark spent 25 years at MBAF – staff through Partner, then joined BDO Miami as Partner when the two firms merged in 2021.
His community involvement activities include a current position as Chairperson of the audit and finance committee of Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Miami and past Chairperson and Board Member of Habitat for Humanity of Greater Miami.
Mark has a B.S. Degree in Accounting from the University of Florida and a M.S. in Taxation from Florida International University. He is a licensed certified public accountant in the state of Florida and is a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
