John is a Tax Manager with Hancock Askew at the firm’s Jacksonville office. He has 25 years of experience in public and private accounting. He specializes in assisting entrepreneurs and multi-unit franchise owners with tax structure and capitalization. John enjoys helping business owners maximize their rewards, reduce risks, and minimize taxes. He also assists construction and real estate companies with cost segregation studies. He devoted many years to providing traditional tax planning and compliance services to closely-held businesses and their owners.
John serves a variety of clients including franchises, entrepreneurs, professional service firms, medical and dental providers and their companies, and real estate and construction firms.
John graduated from the University of South Carolina with a bachelor’s degree in political science and a master’s degree in taxation. He is a Certified Public Accountant in North Carolina and South Carolina and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
