Chris Hines, CPA

Chris is a Senior Manager in Hancock Askew’s Tax Practice. Chris has over fourteen years of public accounting experience in assisting clients on their business tax needs. Chris helps clients consider and navigate the income tax implications across a variety of entity types. Chris works with and understands accounting for income taxes, (“ASC 740”) for both public and non-public companies.

Chris also provides clients with assistance in preparing and reviewing of Federal and State income and franchise tax returns which includes assessing income tax reporting needs.  Chris has experience serving clients in various industries such as Manufacturing & Distribution, Financial Services, Technology, and Healthcare.

Chris graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting and a Master of Accountancy.  He is a Certified Public Accountant in Georgia and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Georgia Society of CPAs. He is a member of the University of Georgia Terry College of Business Alumni Association.
