Alex is a Manager in the IT Risk Assurance & Advisory department at Hancock Askew. He joined the firm’s Atlanta office in 2021. Alex has over 6 years of experience completing various types of IT audit engagements. His responsibilities include leading client walkthrough meetings to determine process flows, testing controls that support such processes, and assisting with the review of staff work and their career development.
Alex specifically works with clients in the following service areas: System and Organization Control (SOC) reporting (SOC I, SOC 2 & SOC 3), ISO 27001 & 27701 audits, Internal controls (business processes and IT), HIPAA, IT risk advisory and consulting and risk assessments.
He graduated from Georgia Southern University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting. Alex is a member of ISACA and has earned his CISA accreditation.
