Kate is a Partner at Hancock Askew and has been with the firm since 2012. Kate provides audit and assurance services for a variety of industries. She specializes in financial statement audits, technical accounting consulting and internal controls for public, private and not-for-profit organizations.
A graduate of the University of Georgia, Kate holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting. She received her Master of Accounting from Georgia Southern University. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Kate was named one of Georgia Trend’s 40 under 40 in 2022. She is a 2021 graduate of Leadership Savannah and was named to Savannah Magazine’s 2018 New Guard. She serves as the Treasurer of the Board for Union Mission, Inc., the Coastal Empire Habitat for Humanity and the 200 Club of the Coastal Empire. She is involved in many other local non-profit organizations. Kate is also the proud mother of two young children.
Kate enjoys all the work she does at Hancock Askew but has particularly enjoyed the opportunities that she has had to develop relationships with clients and co-workers. She believes in working hard with a passion for what is best for her clients and upholding the Firm’s mission of “You First.”
