Dana is a Tax Principal at Hancock Askew with over 18 years of private and public accounting and tax experience. She has worked extensively with businesses of all shapes and sizes, both developing and established. She also specializes in servicing high-risk business sectors and with multistate taxation engagements.

Dana initially entered the accounting field by working within the private sector and after returning to Tampa Bay, she chose to join a boutique tax and accounting practice and thus began her career in public accounting. She spent 15 years growing with the firm and became its youngest partner and shareholder before moving her practice to Hancock Askew in 2023.

Dana served on the Budget & Finance Committee at Congregation B’nai Israel of St. Petersburg, in addition to supporting the charities The Teal Recovery Project, Feeding Tampa Bay, Frankie’s Friends, and Lasagna Love.

She graduated from the University of Florida where her studies focused on Non-Profit Business Organizations, and she continued her education in Accounting at the University of South Florida.
