Hancock Askew & Co. is Excited to Announce, George Rendziperis, Director, has Joined the Firm

Savannah, GA (January 9, 2024) – Hancock Askew & Co., LLP (HAC), a full-service audit, tax, accounting, and advisory firm is proud to announce the hire of George Rendziperis as a Director of State and Local Tax.

George works within the firm’s State and Local Tax (SALT) practice to provide local and multi-state tax consulting services. George specializes in assisting taxpayers in matters involving state income, franchise, gross receipts, sales and use, withholding, controlling interest transfer and real and personal property taxes, as well as unclaimed property and state tax credits and incentives. He also provides experienced counsel in state tax controversies, audit defense, and state tax litigation matters. His expertise allows Hancock Askew to provide these expanded SALT consulting services to existing and new clients across all of the firm’s markets in Georgia and Florida.

About George Rendziperis, J.D.

With more than 15 years of experience, George provides clients support through nexus studies and analysis, state tax due diligence, look-back reviews (reverse tax audits), negotiating voluntary disclosures, tax dispute resolution, state apportionment reviews, Public Law 86-272 analyses, taxability analyses and transactional tax planning.  George works with clients across all industries, including manufacturing, services, technology, oil and gas, e-commerce, financial services and real estate.

George received his J.D. magna cum laude from Michigan State University, his Masters in Finance from Walsh College and his B.A. in Economics and Political Science with a concentration in Accounting from Albion College. He is a former clerk to the Honorable Marilyn Kelly of the Michigan Supreme Court and currently serves on the Taxpayer Advocacy Group of the Texas Comptroller.
