Mark is a Tax Partner at Hancock Askew and has over 40 years of experience in accounting.

Mark worked with Arthur Andersen & Company from 1979 – 1987, then became a partner with KPMG, LLP from 1987 – 1998, before starting his CPA firm in 1998. While building his CPA practice, he worked with Heritage Capital Group and Business Valuations as a principal from 1998-2012. He has provided tax and financial consulting services to Fortune 500 companies, closely-held businesses, business owners, and high-wealth individuals. Mark has provided business valuation services to closely-held business and holding companies and mergers and acquisition consulting and business brokerage services to closely-held businesses throughout his career.

Mark has been published in “The Economic Impact of Taxes on S Corporation Valuations,” with C. Donald Wiggins and Laura L. Along with being a Certified Public Accountant, Mark is a Certified Valuation Analyst and Master Analyst in Financial Forensics. Mark is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants and National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts.
