As of December 23, 2024, the injunction on filing Beneficial Ownership Information (BOI) Reports has been lifted. FinCEN has announced that reporting companies are now required to submit BOI information by the deadline of January 13, 2025.
The additional six-month extension remains available for those businesses affected by recent hurricanes, as explained in this recent Journal of Accountancy article.
