Joel has been with Hancock Askew for nearly 15 years and has contributed greatly to the firm as well as provided excellent service and advisory to the firm’s clients. Most recently, Joel relocated from the Atlanta office to the new Jacksonville, Florida office to lead the tax compliance and consulting practice. Joel oversees all aspects of the tax department in Jacksonville, including staffing, growth and client service.
As the firm continues to grow, the promotion of key senior leaders strengthens the future of the firm and allows us to continue providing our clients with exceptional service and our staff with experienced mentorship and guidance.

He has 15 years of experience providing proactive business and tax advisory services for closely held businesses, partnerships, corporations and high-net worth individuals. He serves clients in a variety of industries including medical/dental practices, personal service businesses, commercial manufacturing contractors/subcontractors, and home builders.
Joel graduated from Georgia State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and earned his Master of Business Administration in Accounting from Kennesaw State University. Joel is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants.
